FUNDRAISING PROJECTS (from April Council meeting until 2 Aug '06)
• We held our first gig on 24 May 2006. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
• We held a games night on 17 June 2006. There were numerous board gameslike monopoly and chess available, as well as mini soccer (slug), play station 2,an eating competition, a very popular "Fear Factor" and Blind dates. Studentscould pay us to organize timed blind dates with 2 students of their choice. The night was a great success
• We held a World Cup Raffle. Students had to guess which country would winthe World Cup to stand a chance of winning

• We held our annual Africa Day Soccer Tournament for the students on 25 may2006. This year we had 8 boys teams and 8 girls teams, involving about 132 students.
• We have started a garden in the school grounds to mark the 10th anniversary of our school.
• We held the annual voting for next year's committee. This is so that they can act as understudies for a term before they go into office next year, and to give the upper 6th students a chance to study for their final examinations. The resultswill be published next term.
