A) LCI D412 REGION 2 (Zimbabwe) LIONS LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP 16/08/08 NOTICE
Dear Current and Incoming Club and Cabinet Officers,
Notice is hereby given that there will be a LCI District 412 Region 2 Zimbabwe Lions Leadership Workshop in Harare at Mabelreign Lions Den on Saturday, 16th August, 2008 form 0800hrs to 1730hrs.
1) Invited and targeted to attend as delegates include
a) Current, New and Incoming D412 Cabinet Officers,
b) Current, New and Incoming Club Officers and
c) All Lions interested in Lions leadership Training and Growth
2) Please do discuss this leadership development and motivational initiative as a club and organize your delegates (esp. Board Members) who will attend.
3) Clubs should, where relevant, consider to what extent the club can assist / sponsor their delegates to participate in this administrative and leadership training workshop.
4) New and Incoming cabinet and club officers especially need this training to effectively assume office and carry out their duties efficiently in the current or coming Lionistic year.
5) The level of your Lions club service and administrative activity performance directly relates to available leadership and motivational skills .
6) This is the training opportunity for those incoming officers unlikely to attend :-
a) Leadership Institutes organized elsewhere, who need instruction and guidance.
b) The 2008 Lions Clubs International Convention in Bangkok , Thailand.
7) The Registration forms and proposed programme will be sent for your consideration and your prompt attention. Register your delegates a.s.a.p. Preferred specific presentation requests including questions and answers can be forwarded to myself for my attention and inclusion time permitting.
8) 1st 2008/9 D412 Cabinet meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 17th August, 2008 at a Harare venue – Mabelreign Lions Den . Travel arrangements from the same Zones will be practical and convenient with current cabinet officers having a chance to mix and fellowship with their incoming officers during the workshop, the Saturday evening District Governor Change-over social as well as during the 1st cabinet meeting.
