Greetings in leonism!
I sincerely trust that you are all in good health and it is only by the full grace of the Lord that we can continue serving.i believe that it is an honour to our community and the world at large to have such a community compassionate,intellectual and reality oriented individuals serving in our
district today, thank you all!
Im proud to say that even though the number of clubs in my region have dwindled those still funtional have been quite active in serving our community, lately not much have happened in the region due to reasons beyond my control and it was quite difficult for me to attend or coordinate any activity in my region due to my change of location.
active clubs in the region are3 that is Solusi University Omegas, Gifford High,and Townsend High Leos. Bulawayo Omegas is reviving and plans are underway in making the club vibrant. Coming up with a NUST University Leo Club was unsuccessful due to rules and regulations governing their university such that interested members had to join Bulawayo Omegas. Solusi University was so active and undertook a very successful project in their history,GIVE A BEARER CAMPAIGN, to help blind kids in their community. Gifford also did just great in their acivities.
I would have wanted to enjoy and participate together with everyone in this years convention meeting but i am suppose to be back in college this Wednesday in preparation for my graduation.
Lets all keep serving or community and know that nomatter how much you have you can still give help. Even those who have it all in life are waiting for you to give them what they do not have, a different view on life, a glimpse at something beautiful and a respite from daily chaos.
