REGION 2 LEO DISTRICT 412 SECOND COUNCIL MEETING REPORT
REGINA MUNDI, GWERU, 7-9 DECEMBER 2007
MEMBERSHIP
The Region 2 currently has a club membership of 10 namely Harare West, Peterhouse, Kutama, Hillcrest, Dangamvura, Nyamauru, St Faith’s, St Mary’s, Nyanga and prospective clubs Harare the Phoenix, Mabelreign, Prince Edward School and Herman Germeiner.
DISTRICT DUES
Most of the clubs are not in good standing while some have committed to submit their dues in due course.REGINA MUNDI, GWERU, 7-9 DECEMBER 2007

DISTRICT DUES
COMMUNICATION
Correspondence in the region has greatly improved and this is one of the major great changes clubs as clubs have been making an effort to communicate about their activities.
TWINNING
The region has twinned with clubs in Region 3 and 5 while at club level their has been a marked improvement with club twinning and visits.
CLUB VISITS
Visited the Peterhouse on their induction luncheon as well as prospective Leo Club of Prince Edward to set up the club. Unfortunately failed to visit the rest of the
MEETINGS
I attended the District Board Meeting in Gweru in September as well District Governor Lion Ray Sibanda visit to Harare Lions Clubs for the Zone meeting.
OUTLOOK
The region’s vision is to establish more clubs and we anticipate a marked improvement in the number of clubs while the existing clubs are expected to continue going forward and strive to remain vibrant in the remainder of year
APPRECIATION
I would like to commend my fellow board members, Leo Clubs, Lions Clubs and Schools especially patrons for the effort made during the past six months. Their support is greatly appreciated.
